Personal budgets & funding

Since the undergoing of the personalisation of social care in recent years, people with learning disabilities & mental health issues are eligible to access a personal budget as financial support for them to fund activities beneficial to them and their individual needs. We think this is brilliant, as it gives the individual more control over where they spend their budget and therefore the services they access.

Most people thinking of joining us at Branches come for an initial visit with their social worker, a family member or friend to see what we provide. If they like the look of what we do, we offer them a FREE taster day.

Funding for sessions is usually arranged via the social worker or appointee depending on how the individual accesses their budget. We do offer self-funded places also.

Branches uses Worcester Wheels transport service to help people get to us. This service is only available for people living in Worcester & its surrounding areas. Some people get to us in a taxi or with a family member or support worker.
